Our Cooperative was born in 1966 through the union of small livestock farmers.
who joined forces to produce Mahón-Menorca cheese under the same brand name, COINGA, Cooperativa Insular Ganadera de Menorca.
Nowadays we are more than 60 associated farms all over Menorca.
and we continue to produce our products as we have always done, in the most natural way.
The founding mission remains unchanged
Namely to ensure that the estates are both self-sufficient and economically viable, and that Minorca’s dairy production is correctly valued through its Mahón-Menorca cheese and other products.

You contribute to guaranteeing the maintenance of the Menorca countryside and the landscape that we appreciate so much. Our Cooperative is made up of more than 60 farms throughout Menorca.

Coinga, recognized quality. Throughout history, Mahón-Menorca Coinga cheese has won more than 40 national and international awards in the most prestigious cheese competitions in the world. Our products are strictly related to the geo-climatic characteristics of Menorca and age-old-cheese-making-tradition that make up a unique recipe certified with Protected Designation of Origin seal since 1985.

Deliciosos quesos, denominación de origen Mahón. Tienen tienda directa en la fábrica y venden quesos y complementos. En alguna época del año realizan visitas a la fábrica. La chica que nos atiende siemlre, es muy simpática y atenta.
