Our Cooperative was born in 1966 through the union of small livestock farmers.
who joined forces to produce Mahón-Menorca cheese under the same brand name, COINGA, Cooperativa Insular Ganadera de Menorca.
Nowadays we are more than 60 associated farms all over Menorca.

Our products are strictly related to the geo-climatic characteristics of Menorca and age-old-cheese-making-tradition that make up a unique recipe certified with Protected Designation of Origin seal since 1985.
